bolt on exhaust

I have a 97 qx4 and im looking for full exhaust system from the headers back. Does anyone have any suggestions. I dont want anything loud, just a deeper tone to the exhaust. thanks

i think getting a bigger exhaust tip can help. dont really need a whole setup unless you want one

uuuh yeah... i don't want to put a tip on it ... Im looking at build an exhaust for it i guess. I did it on my rb20240. Ill probally run bigger pipes from the cat to the muffler(which i dont know what kind i will use yet) and then not use a tail pipe. I dont like they way they look coming out so i will probally build a small tailpipe that ends no where near the back bumper. does anyone have a picture of the hksuv exhaust?

Remus made at least an axle back, may still. . I've also seen HKS cat-back for VG R50s. I dunno where to get either of 'em tho.

This was way before I ever had a QX4. . I've just always wanted a Pathfinder, so I'm sort of living my dream in a way. . the other part of it involves boobs, but we're workin' on that.

Edit: Flowmaster 50 series seems to be a good fit, btw. . I dunno what size pipes it'll handle, but it at least sounds pretty good. . I don't recall the cost, but the actual muffler isn't much at all.

I know the remus makes mercedes and bmw exhaust so they have to be expensive. I think it will be easier to make my own. haha i feel you on the dream and boobs part....

Yeah I love the quality and sound of Remus, and was looking for one for my 240sx. . but I only found an axle back for 550, so I dropped that idea. . hahaI remember seeing one for a Pathfinder in the list tho. . this was awhile back.

I did find the HKS for sale, but I think Flowmaster is a good bet. . go on youtube and search using the words qx4 (or pathfinder) flowmaster -- you'll hear the super 40, and the 50 series. . both sound good to me. The super 40 (I think) is a two in, tow out, but the 50 is almost identical to the stock muffler (2 in 1 out, but larger).

Some dude hauls *** in a VG QX4 with a filter and exhaust and I know it's quicker than mine. . haha

On a side note, when I scanned your post I saw the words "feel" and "boobs" and I got a bit excited.
