bolt in my tire YAY!!

woohoo found a free bolt in my tire today the other night i went out driving, and when i was coming back i heard click click click coming from the rear drivers side tire and i knew waht it was arrgh. im surprised to see it was a damn BOLT!! and not a nail or screw, cuz this thing is BLUNT lolanyone else have any tire puncture stories?? (gather around the campfire)

My coworker got a whole screwdiver(yes the whole thing,handle and all) in his 2004 Tahoe. He still drove it to work unknowingly.

I just got a screw in my tire yesterday, but heres the kicker...IN BOTH of my rear tires!!!?!

Im trying to figure out if i can sue the company thats ripping apart the road on the way to work for the damages.

i really dont wanna spend $82 on a new tire but i may have to! And that plus the damn plug too!!!

I mean i can save one tire but the other screw is right bordering the side wall on the outside tread

my buddy had a bolt about the same size as axels. I was driving along next to him in my cougar and it flew out and hit my windshield. Didn't leave a mark or anything, but startled me.

Seen it all, from small pliers to house keys, to spark plugs, wood, sharp rocks, screwdrivers, nails, screws, bolts, glass, razor blades, chain links, bullets, and on and on..

People are always fascinated by stuff that gets stuck in their tire. It's almost laughable because we see it every day and don't think twice about it. Some people actually ask us to save the object that caused the puncture, like it holds the key to a mystery. Customers will hold a small chunk of metal in their hand and stare at it in wonder and awe.

But I suppose if it only happens once or twice, the event can really be surprising to some.

My friend had an exhast valve poke through his tire before. The tire place added to their bucket of "things found in peoples tires". It was pretty strange, never heard of that before.

me and 4 friends drove down to myrtle beach, me in my daily driver (neon) and my friend pete in his beautiful (and rare) '85 ASC McLaren. when we were were coming back, he got into a fight with one of the guys we went with. pete just wanted to be left alone, so we got back on the highway. we found out the next morning that he got a broken nose (from the fight), a ticket for doing 80 in ohio, and his tire blew out on the highway when he ran over a 2x4 going 80. dented the rim and everything, but hes lucky nothing else got screwed.
