bogs down?!? :(

okay i got a problem with my 240sx stock KA motor. whenever im driving on the freeway and goin like 75 - 80 mph my engine like jumps or somethin. can anyone help me with that? let me know whats going on??

oh and my rpm tack doesnt work.. does anyone know how the wiring on those things go?

So is it bogging down or jumping? Also what year is your 240? For the tach issue just use the search button.

its kind of hard to describe like ill be going and and it bogs down and then jumps right back like i think it might be my fuel pump but im not sureand its a 91

Sounds more or less to be hesitation, do your basic tune up, check timing and use the search buttons. Lots of threads cover this type of thing, good luck op.

My coupe is doing this, or what it sounds like yours is doin.Mine is my 3rd cylinder fuel injector. Not sure what it exactly it is but I know it is that one because when i play with it (rotate) it changes the running of the car...Im just to lazy to take the 5 mins to change it for the umptine billion others ive got.oh and for your tach issue, crawl under your car and make sure all your sensor are hooked to your transmission and not cut.

hey , i got a 90with ka24e i had the same problem . about 70 75 is like bogs like its missing . does it do the same thing with u start it up after a rain storm ? i put drygas in my car from pep boys and it stoped doing it but it came back later never again when driving just start up after rain storm .

well it hasnt rained lately just snowed but its pretty cold around hereand what is drygas?

oh and about the tach.. the wires run to the transmission right? cuz i just looked under my car and i seen some wires that werent covered and i thought that maybe thats the problem
