My car seems to be boging bad. It seems like there is absolutely no power when I boost. Also, is the stock temp gauge right? cause it seems like it's over heating. What could be wrong.....I'm so frustraited

do you have an s13 sr in your s14? if so try changing the water temp sender to an s14 unit. you might be running the s13 sender and if so it will send the wrong signal and your water temp gauge will read hot

little one wire spade terminal on a water pipe. it has to match the gauge cluster. ka cluster does not like the sr sending unit. nissan calls it a thermal transmitter.

OK. There is a one wire sensor just to the right of the throttle body. You have to get the thermal transmitter from either the ka motor you took out or go to the dealership and buy another one. unscrew the old one and screw the new one back in and taadaa! As for the bogging down issue it could be several things. O2 sensor, plugs not gapped properly, intercooler piping has a leak somewhere. Lets see....does it bog down right as you hit boost or does it hit full boost and then bog down. It is normally due to plugs or intercooler piping, but it could be other things. We need more info on exactly what it does. As for the water temp gauge thats an easy fix so dont worry about it. I hope me answering some of your questions helped. These issues that you are haveing are quit common and simple to normally determine. It could be doe to bad timing to so good luck.

I can't really explain what it's doing. It just doesn't seem to be making any power. I actually had a guy who's driven an sr powered 240 before and he said the same thing. he said it seemed like it was floding and makind no where near the power it should be. What do you guys think? I'm checking the plugs and piping as we speak.

that sounds like ign timing or if severe enough then valve timing. put a timing light on it to check.
