iv had the turbo setup on for about 2 weeks now. seemed to be fine. idles at about 750, timing within 5*. factory set from greddy at 7psi, im still waiting on my BC, should be here tues. the car runs fine until i go that last inch or so then i feel the loss of power. bogging down. is the boost to low for the fuel going in? any ideas will help. thanx

Well you probalby don't need your timing retarded that much, if any at all. what do you mean that "last inch" .. like on the tach? Probably because your power is dropping off around 6k rpms.

by last inch i mean im getting on it, but not to the floor. i can feel the curve in the pedal enough to know when its getting to that "bogged down area". i just back off a little and the power picks back up. i need to just get a wideband and eliminate the AF ratio guess work. that should at least tell me where my fuels at.

Mine did that yesterday after I turned up the boost about 4 psi without tuning. My AFR's were still in the 11's though, which I couldn't understand. Normally run 10-12psi and went for 15-16psi.

i figured it out. i blew the seals in the housing. greddy told me it was the oil i was running. royal purple.

Your problem sounds like a boost leak to me . You should make a boost leak tester so you could pin point your problem.

would a boost leak blow oil through the turbo? may have too much oil pressure thats giving me blow-by.

You have e-manage... it controls your timing.... you should be running stock timing. You don't need to retard your base timing
