Car: trying to decide on one...

Post

Okay when I go like half throttle it boosts fine, but if I floor it I lose all power and my AFR drops to 10. The boost keeps building and RPM's still keep going up, but it just loses all power and stops pulling hard.

The car was not doing this before I took the engine out to change the oil pump/front cover. I had to take the CAS out to get to one of the bolts that held it on, and I'm sure I put it back in right.

- New OEM coilpacks, good grounds- New Iridium sparkplugs with correct gap- fixed all boost leaks- checked TPS voltage- New reman. Z32 MAF

I'm pretty sure my timing is right, but I need to get a timing light and re-check it.

Also, the car may be running hot, the TSU for my water temp gauge is messed up so I'm waiting on a new gauge to get here then I'll know if the car is running hot or not. It shouldn't be running hot because I have a koyo, new water pump, new thermostat, 14" electric fan, greddy radiator cap. I ordered a nismo thermostat too, just for kicks.

Any ideas? Sound like it's pulling timing?

Check for a boost leak in the intake track somewhere

I checked up to 20psi, found 2 and fixed them. still acts the same. i also checked after the engine was hot to see if it made a difference. still no leaks and the car still bogs.
