Hello peeps. I have a question. I have a s13 redtop with a maf # 22680 52f00. It has letters not numbers for each pin. A is empty, B is currently A black/white strip, C is black, D is white. There is an extra black wire crimped into the white wire. Is this Proper? I ask because everynow and then the car boggs at about 3000rpms. Thought it was the wiring to the maf? Any help would be appreciated.

well you have the proper maf, its from a 180sx.The white wire is your signal wire and i dont see any reason why there would be another wire crimped to it, but someone put it there for a reason, only thing i can think of is that there was somthing wrong with your original signal wire and someone ran a new wire from the ecu to the maf. (p.s. on the oem setup, both the maf ground and signal wires are wrapped inside of an additional black wire, so make shure you are not confusing that black wire with the one on your car.) there isnt anything serously wrong, if ther was, the car wouldnt run.

as far as the bogging, a little more description would be helpful. driving conditions, weather......

bogging is most probable from boost leak

please let me know what the solution was. I'm having the same problem. Recently had a blown coupler. Replaced it and checked/re-tightened all other clamps and couplers.
