Can somebody help me? I have a 1990 240sx KA24E. Some times my car won't start, and if it does it bogs big time. When I took it for a test drive on 1st gear I have to keep on playing with the gas to get on rpm up to around 2000 rpm and than it'll take off and it'll dump a lot of black smoke from the exhasut. When my foot is on the gas pedal the car is okay, but when I release the gas and depress it again it bogs. It only bogs when I first depress the gas like when I **** gears it'll bog and stop when my foot is on the gas pedal, and the idle keeps going up and down? It feels like my fuel system is dumping too much fuel can somebody help me out please? I changed the computer box, fuel injectors, checked all the fuses in the engine bay and inside the car, checked the relays I could get too, changed fuel pump. And after all of that it still a little bogg and my car feels like am running V8 cams its rockin' like hell and the idle is like 900 rpms, even if I set it to 1200 rpms its still rockin' like hell. So can someone with point me in the right directions, on what else to do or check, please!!!

sounds like a spark problem or fuel filter also check your coolant temp sensor. Stop spending alot of money on stuff you may not need.Like the pump. should try the filter first. Hows your timing, spark plugs, wires, cap, coil. If you have plenty fuel then you must not have good spark.

I thought about that too, but a lot of spark. I also changed the spark plug, the wires and cap. I didn't change the fuel fliter. I'll try that out. Thanks any thing else you can think of let me know.
