my friend just got his ca up and running, but it bogs HARD on low rpms. I have heard a few things to fix it. Secondary butterfly hose removal... timing... but what about this? I saw this on another post from "rico" something...

"Mine started and drove frist crank as well. Found out that my #3 and #4 injector plugs were backwards (hence why it hd no power under 3k) but I drove it around the blovk first night."

I am wondering if that is a possibility for his car. He has no power off the line until 4000 rpm, and i do not think its just turbo lag. Any and all info or suggestions are welcomed with open arms... Thanks guys

Brandon

Hey mine does that too. It will just kinda bogg untill about 2000rpms then its fine after that. Seems like the throttle responce isnt good under 2 grand.

Something's wrong with both your motors becaue the CA doesn't bog at low rpms like you're explaining. Could be timing, could be TPS, could be knock sensor, could be anything. Do a diagnosis on your ecu and see if there are any trouble codes. The method of how to do trouble codes search in your ecu can be found with the use of the search button.

how does he have his vacumm lines set up?

I was driving mine for a while, and it drove good except alittle bog under 3K. Depending on my throttle input. Then i got new vacumm lines and realized 2 were in bad positions.

Fixed the problem, but mine wasn't that bad to begin.

If u have the walbro and the stock fuel pressure regulator, then like most ppl its probably running rich.

As for the vacumm lines, get the vacuum for the wastegate from the intake piping. For ex: between the turbo and the intercooler. I have my bov connected to the fitting right next to the throttle cable. I have the fitting under the throttle body pluged, cause (for me atleast) i get no vacuum at idle from that spot. Most the rest i get from the back of the intake manifold.

I agree with the Walbro and stock FPR. I am in that boat as we speak. I just need to find a few more pieces before I can get my Nismo FPR and fuel pressure gauge on and fix that. ANd even with the wires crossed, it didn't bog in the low RPMs.

mine runs fine too... its a little rich, but I think my o2 sensor is crapping out on me, not the walbro overpowering the stock fpr.
