I have some rust on my front strut towers and a little on the roof of my car. Now the strut towers i can understand but i don't know how the part on my roof, right near my sun roof, managed to kind of bow up and then start to rust. I can't explain it too well at the moment for some reason but i have pictures below. Anyway, my main question is should i be really concerned at the moment about any of these rust areas or would i be safe to garage the car for the winter and then get it all fixed next year. Also, about how much would it cost to have both of these problems fixed? I'm asking because i'd kind of like to have a general idea of a reasonable price, so when i go to a shop i'll be able to get myself a decent price and not be ripped off, OR if neither of these too problems are too difficult then maybe i could just go out and buy the necessary materials and try to fix it myself. Sorry for the long post guys but i'm kind of on a tight budget so i'm trying to get as much info on this before i go spending all kinds of cash. Thanks. :D :help http://users.adelphia.net/~res...r.jpgh ... es...f.jpg

Well my friend i dont know about fixing it urself but i would maybe try to get it worked on over the winter when u wont mind if its at the shop. As for price I cant really give you an accurate answer because i dont know how much the rust has gone under the paint that I can't see. Try to visit a couple of shops and if most of their prices arent to far apart just try and go for the cheapest one, or the best quality I dont klnow wat you are looking for. Remember you usualy get what you pay for in most cases!

the more i "inspect" the car the more i suspect it's been in an accident... not cool. trunk and both door alignments are all way off and the roof shouldn't have lifted in that one corner to allow rust to form... so i'm on a mission to see if someone can't get a carfax check done for me because i can't afford to pay for one myself. i need to save every penny i've got to get this fixed... especially because my dumb@$$ jumped the gun and i orderd a ca18det front clip from venus already. lol. :help
