Body side mouldings

When I got my Rogue I was a little concerned about the lack of side mouldings and the possibility of getting door "dings" while parked. I shopped around and found a local auto accessories shop that supplied and installed them for $139. They had a pallet of colors to choose from and the silver looked extremely close to the color of my Rogue. Although the photo makes the moulding look a darker color, it pretty much matches the color of the Rogue.

I'm gonna have to agree with mistergib. And it's not really about the color. Those moldings look pretty awful, and clearly look like they were an afterthought. They really don't match the design of the vehicle and are cut all wrong in length.

Hey Roguemeister!

I'm just curious about which local auto accessories shop you went to? (since we're both in Edmonton)

I actually bought the Factory exact color side mouldings pre-painted (as Mistergib highlighted) out of the US - but haven't gotten them put on yet. I was waiting for my brother (who works in an autobody shop) to do it for me but at the this point - I'll probably still be waiting at Christmas.
