I have been thinking about those even though they look like cancer on a car...my stupid co-garage user guy just left a mark with his stupid silver newbeetle on my car's driver door.

I'm not sure that I would put them on my car (the previous owner did that already - and it makes no sense to remove them) - but it depends on how the molding looks - if it is a factory Nissan part made specifically for the car and if you like the look - go for it.

Seems like on-line most people frown on side moldings, I think some of these folks are the same folks that hate seeing the "lines" of a clear bra.

Good luck - look at my car to see how "hideous" side moldings can be.

Why do people think these are ugly? I found this thread and was really surprised at people's reactions. I personally really like the look and might add them to mine - I plan on getting a 2.5 within the next couple months. As I see it, body side moldings give accent to a door that is otherwise essentially just a flat and bland stretch of paint.

They look ok on sedans but on coupes they look like crap "barf". 99% of door dings can be fixed cheaply at a paintless dent removal place like Dent Doctor, Dent RX. Most big car dealers have there own guy that will work for cash on his off time

the doors smooth look that flows into the quarter panels is beautifull and you want to mess that up

Whatever happened to Summer, I remember meeting him at one of the first Meets in Brooklyn and then he fell off the face of the earth on the forums. You still alive dude? This post is from July too guys.
