Got a 2003.5 G35 sedan w/ 17' wheels and standard suspension, and was wondering the best route to go to eliminate some of the body roll during hard cornering.

I don't want to severaly impact the ride or lower the vehicle. So, springs are probably not an option!

So what are my options as far as struts/shocks or roll bars!

Body roll is a good thing [some that is].

Most Nissan designs have +- 3.5" of shock stroke.

Most Nissan designs use a sway bar [the real wheel/tire rate] that is less than 40% of the total roll stiffness wheel rate.

Without changing springs you can add a 100% stiffer front and rear sway bar that might reduce the body roll by 25% at best.

Sway bars are not really used to reduce sway [much] that job is left to springs and fine tuned for under/oversteer ratios with the bars.

Try sway bars--they have the effect of increasing spring rate when turning and will not significantly effect ride in a straight line. I put Hotchkiss adjustables on my 03 sedan and have it set medium in front and soft in rear. this seems to work well for me. Initial setting of soft rear and hard front caused too much push during autocross. Good luck!!

Remember the suspension is in SERIES with the tire...........some of the roll comes from sidewall softness vs inflation.

Remember the sway bars are in PARALLEL with springs and generally have 1/5 to < 1/2 the spring stiffness. Bars are easier to change than springs and surely don't wear out the oem shocks as fast as stiffer springs.Luckily aftermarket adjustible sway are not grossly unsafe [not too stiff] assuming oem tires.

A nearly perfect car with a great driver can feel a 1 psi difference in tire pressure and/or a 3 gallon diffence in fuel weight.
