Hello all. Roughly 2 years ago my 350Z was backed into by an SUV in a parking lot. The body shop said the hood and front bumper need to be replaced but me being the idiot I am took the money and dumped it into my 300ZX TT. Now I nearly have the 350Z paid off and I am wanting to repair the damage, I just cant stand to see it that way anymore. I have been doing a lot of shopping around and looking at body kits from many manufacturers and have fallen in love with the Nismo V2 kit. A much as I would love to get this kit from Extreme dimensions or VIS racing, I rarely read anything good about their products and I simply cannot justify $2000 in quality NISMO parts when $800 of OEM parts will suffice to return it to stock condition. If I could get enough people to assure me that fitting a knockoff bumper would not be an absolute nightmare i would likely do it but that is not what I am finding. I am seeking advise and maybe some of you can talk some sense into this thick skull of mine. Any thoughts however critical they may be are welcome as well as success or horror stories.
Thanks.

Allow me. We stand behind the fitment on all of our products. If there's a major fitment issue, we take care of it. All of our 350z parts have excellent fitment. If you watch our video on our website, you will see our marketing manager installing an N1 kit on a 350z. If he can fit that kit with minimal issues, then you, the end user, should have no issues. In the rare case there is an ssue, we work with you to resolve it. I can also say that our N2 kit (Nismo v2 style) would not run you $2,000.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to let me know and I can help you out.

I had a poor experience with Extreme Dimensions when I bought some Ground Effects for our 2003 350z. I spent the extra money on the Duraflex Side Skirts and they were the WORST fit I EVER had, and I have installed multiple ground effects on past cars we owned. When I called Extreme Dimensions back, all they would do for me is sell me another set of side skirts at a reduced rate and would not take the original ones back because they stated that I had them too long. (I bought them at the end of August and were installing them as a winter project) so be cautious of time frames. The second set was better, but, I still had to have a professional Body Shop modify them to fit good, at best.
Good Luck. Just stay away from Duraflex!

look up an aerosync n-1 style front bumper. good fitment, descent price, and made of polyurethane. There are a lot of positive reviews on this bumper. It looks really good with the stock setup of the car so you wouldn't have to waste any money buying a full body kit. And leaves money for getting a seibon carbon fiber hood

I'm sorry you had that experience but what I can tell is that all of our 350z parts fit extremely well. Another thing I can say is that we have had some fitment isses in the past but we have been working to correct those issues. How long ago did you purchase the parts?

The first set of side skirts were approximately 1 year ago and they were Duraflex. The second set I had to buy because apparently to much time had past was mid December and were Urethane.

thats not a bad thing.....

honestly the 350's look good stock,i don't want to step on your toes here b/c you seem dead set on a body kit.... My advice? replace it with stock and take the money left over and spend it under the hood....no sense in spending money on something that'll only make your car look good and not let you get more enjoyment out of it :chuckle:

It sounds like you've had some personal experience. How long ago was this and what problems did you have? Did you contact us with the issue(s) you were having? Just trying to figure out the basis for your assessment.
