Can a 95-96 240sx body kit fit on a 97-98 240sx? I saw a real nice and clean bodykit on some sight i was on yesterday, however the kit is only for the 95-96 240sx-I have 97 240sx. I want to get it ASAP, but i first have to know whether it fits and I'd rather ask for everyone's advice on this website than the company that sells the bodykit. Thanks for your help.

I don't think it will fit because the headlights and fenders are different...unless you see a pic of your car with the kit on it, it probably won't fit!

It could probably be done with only small modifications. Any descent body shop should be able to handle it.

It won't fit like bolt on but like big jon said...with some minor mods it should be alright!

I would call the company and see if they make it for the 97-98. Do you remember what type of kit it was?? But I would not buy a bumper for the 95-96 there are some differences. Good Luck

It would be hard for a 95-95 to fit on a 97-98. If you have ever removed the front end of a 97-98, there are extra brakets on the fenders that will be needed to be cut off in order for the 95-96 bumpers to fit. Also, the curve of the 95-96 is more dramatic than the 97-98 because of the headlights. So if you were to put a 95-96 bumper on, you would have to flex the bumper outwards in order to make it fit. Then you have a gap where the grill would be, the fit just wouldn't be right. If you remember what kind of kit it is, I might be able to see if they make one for a 97-98. Here a couple ideas of nice body kits: Bomex, C-West, Do-Luck, Uras. Just a few.

I was able to contact the company and they said are in the process of making the drift kit for the 97-98 240sx, so I'll just wait till then. Thanks for all your help and advice.
