i currently own a 1995 nissan 240sx, and i want to add a body kit for under 300-400 bucks...ive seen bomex kits which are really nice..im not thinking about putting a rear bumper/or lips..just the front bumper...2 side skirts...and the hood spoiler...what should i do? -drift junkie s14 aka the economic buyer..(lol):ak47 :aug2

OK..If you want a REAL Bomex kit... you will not get it for that price. unless you have some hook up! but I like your style!! What color is your car?

Even with a hookup, bomex kits aren't that cheap. : ( Also, it won't look even, you'll need something on the *** end as well or when people look at your car from the side it will look uneven. : ( Thats just my opinion though, I could be wrong.

with the Bomex... you don't have to remove anything. there are these 2 add on's that continue the flow of the kit....

like this:can't see it too much but you can tell something is there:

Hehe, no, thats not an invader, thats an actual bomex kit. Also, most companies use rear valence skirts, they attach to the sides as Black is pointing out for you. It follows the contours of the rears. You can get whole replacement bumpers if you like, but a lot are valence skirts.

His is real Bomex. The problem with cheap is that it cracks and it doesn't fit right, then your expensive paintjob goes to waste when the kit starts warping and cracking, and/or it isn't molded properly.

o man..your right....my friend..who owns a 200sx got an aftermarket kit..although not real "bomex" got it painted and it started to crack..but it only cracked when he scrapped..(i.e going down dips or off the drive way) so i mean the real this is excellent..but generic kits can also hold up its own

see.. it's like this... you pay $500 for a fake bojmex and pay like $1000 for the paint job because belive me you.. the shop will have to put hours and hours in to prep work and then it will warp like Dauntt said so you will have to get it redone over and over... or you can cough up the $1200~ for the real thing and not spend that much at the shop. I paid $500 to get it painted and put on! They also told me that this was one of the best kits they have seen!! and they do alot of work with fiberglass kits... overall it is worth it to get a GOOD kit and not a cheap imitation

I used good old nail polish remover... be carefull and not get it on your paint. get a cotton cloth and rub it gently... and that's all it takes! don't scrub hard or you will scratch up the plastic and if you do get any on your paint.. make sure you wipe it off quickly...let me know if you need any more help...
