My 2005 2.5 SL was recently rear-ended in a accident. It's now being rebuilt and I wanna try Wide body fenders over the back wheels (For a bit of a different look).
Has anyone ever experimented with this idea or ideas similar to this one?

Additional mods include...
-Blackened Tail lights (like b4)
-The G35 flat spoiler (Hmmm.....)
-Lip kit (with muffler cutout)
-Magnaflow Dual-tip muffler (Had a single b4)

I think you'd need to widen the fronts a little too or it'd look wierd, like 1 " in back and maybe 1/2" in front...could look cool, more like a Z car.

If you're gonna go custom widebody fenders/quarterpanels, you should widen the fronts so that they'll remain proportional to the back just to maintain a consistent look imo. Widening too much though would give your car an odd shape as it goes from wide to narrow back to wide again, so I would think only a slight widening would be good.
Now if you're talking about overfenders? Save them for the old school cars, they look tacky on newer cars imo.
