Alot of my fellow Altima coupe owners have been hinting that they want a g35 or G37 front bumper that will fit our cars. i mean really how hard is it to make a conversion? and a little more attention to what people are asking for would be nice since ultimatly we are the ones purchasing these kits and putting them on our cars... thanks.

also anyone with ideas about a kit feel free to post

hum...I don't want a g35 or g37 conversion kit. it's bad enough to that our cars where being called babyg35 or poor man's g35. If I wanted a g35 or a g37 I would have bought one.

but if you REALLY want that kit could you probably fab some custom front end using your bumper and a used g35/g37 one.

also since you mentioned that " a little more attention to what people are asking for would be nice since ultimatly we are the ones purchasing these kits and putting them on our cars... thanks"

well there are compagnies that just want to do one for you and 10 of your bodies for as little as 675$:http://www.bodykits.org/custom.html

lots of possibilities

only thing i know for sure everyone wants is to get rid of the chrome mustache but yet Stillen is the only one that did lol probably why the stillen front fascia is out selling all the others

ok ok ok guys ill admit the altima is an altima in the end and not a g. I am however very ticked off over the fact that alot of these companies arent using the lines of the car which by the way arent bad to look at. i mean if they put a little more effort into originality rather than outrageousness. that would make me lil happier. i love the way the stock bumper looks and i love the lines... but i just wish they would build off an already good looking car.

i think we peaked on aftermarket about a year ago. the new aftermarket is coming slower and slower and i'm still seeing very few altima coupes on the road.

i hear you bro. i've always wanted a new body kit especially the concept kit that we were talking about but never really gotten t but not made out of fiberglass...but hey who knows. our cars are still relatively new and we've accomplished so much in a short amount of time imo. [

i would buy that one kit loop has if it was shatterproof lol. i dont really mind that the aftermarket is slow and i really dont mind seeing less altima coupes on the road. one thing at a time..

you make designing a body kit sound easy. If you think designing a body kit that everyone likes is so easy why dont you draw one up yourself and send it to the bodt kit companies. everyone has different tastes and its hard to find a kit that everyone likes. I do agree that the companies shouldn't be leaving the mustache but that requires them to make a kit that includes a full grill which is more installation. I have already seen stillen body kits sagging from improper installs.

we are in an economic recession and companies aren't going to shell out cash to create expensive kits for cars that just came out. New car sales are down so companies are going to gear mods towards already popular cars like the g35 or 350z. i'm not trying to be nasty or anything but companies are going out of business everywhere and people are spending less on mods because money is tight.

I would be another that wouldn't want a kit to mimic the G35/G37.

I completely agree with the fact that the front grill needs work. And I'm sure almost everyone here is along the lines of being on the same page for this.

If make body kits is so easy, make this one. Alot of people want it. And it would defenetly seperate us from the G look. I tried a few different companies, but the only companies that where willing to make it, wanted to make it out of fiberglass. So get to work and build this kit for me.

Looks like a really nice kit, except the bottom of the front kinda looks too big to me.. it looks like it wants to eat anything in it's way

is it just me or does that kit remind you of a mazda 3? something about the curves

All I want is the stock grille to go away and be replaced by something like the one on the Stillen fascia, without having to opt for an entirely new front end. The existing billet grilles don't do it for me.

Quote »is it just me or does that kit remind you of a mazda 3?[/quote]Yes! The headlights and new fog light recesses do!

Also, that lower opening looks like a fish mouth to me. Having said that, I do think it is a pretty nice looking unit, just not perfect - it still has the bee hive honeycomb grille!

Kinda looks like the M series for BMW to me however, that big gaping area right up front would look awesome with some grillz No, I'm not talking about bright chrome billet but rather a big honkin' intercooler !!!

I could picture an intercooler in there, for sure! But the upper line of that lower opening should go more straight across or even follow the lower line of the main grille even if the edges started higher.... as it is, opening upwards, it looks like a Plecostamus!

either stillen helps us and makes an awesome uretane one, or we go through bodykits.org:

"Custom Body Kits

START A GROUP BUY FOR A CUSTOM BODY KITWE CAN MAKE ANYSTYLE KIT FOR ANY CAR...Thats right, we make custom body kit (s) for any car, and any style you choose, we are a body kit and spoiler manufacturer. Your shop, or you can start a group buy on any message boards/groups, and the orignal starter who organizes the group buy, and decides on a style body kit, it could be anystyle ,will get a really really good deal on their kit for their car.

Info on the custom kit:

1. Each group buy has to be the same style body kit, and the same years 2. All we need is 10 pre-orders of the same custom kit you choose $675.00x10 people with the same car, and want the same design kit (that is a complete kit!) add shippping is paid upon delivery FREIGHT COLLECT. (you dont pay for shipping upfront, you pay for shipping when your kit arrives) we would need to ship to a business address (any business address will do , like your work, or a body shop) 3. After we get the pre-orders, we would need a sponsor car to prototype the kit on in CALIFORNIA, of course the sponsor car will get a FREE Kit, but first we would need the pre-orders and the group buy organized and pre-paid before hand. (please do not email us for sponosrships for this) 4. After the group buy is complete, allow 5-7 weeks for us to make the kit, and we can ship the kits our after. We do not make custom kits for one car. we only make custom kits for group buys of 10 orders minimum. email us for inquiries regarding group buys for a custom design bodykit) "

I'd rather go through stillen as they make the highest quality kits and they already have the experience but if not it's going to be from bodykits.org

Now THAT'S a nice bodykit!

But what about the grill?! gotta do sumthin about that honeycomb. i still say that stillen's grill that comes with the fascia's the best looking.

I agree.. I like Some of the pics of what people want but I want to keep my fogs which is why I haven't gone the stillen rout.. I think that our cars have potential to have great kits made for it but let the aftermarket take its time and develop some nice ones. I like the Blue one with the Fogs. I like the Silver one that looks M3 and Mazda3ish.. its by far my favorite but it needs a diffrent grille.. IMO

I'm beginning to think that Mehdi is a Stillen insider testing the waters!

If not.... you should be!
