:) Yo everyone. Currently checking out a bone stock 93 hatch in the neighborhood. It got ~145k miles and some bodydamage. Seller is asking for 3k. People've been giving differnt info on how expensive the dent in the picture is gona cost to get repaired. Looking for opinions on how much it's worth.

Looks good. Just about every 240 will have a dent in the quarter at some point in its life.. I mean they were ment to drift all along. :chuckle:

I think it would be a sweet deal if you could talk the owner down about $400 to help cover the amount the body shop may charge to pull that dent out.

The car is just such a virgin it is in very good condition I think you should try and come to a deal with the seller.

Good Luck!

:welcome: to Nico!

Best bet is to get a quote from a local body shop. My 240 was smashed hard on the driver's side rear quarter when a guy ran a red light. The damage was a little worse than that in the same location, had to replace the rear bumper and marker light. They did just a bondo job on the metal portion (insurance was threatening to total the car) and painted everything to match of course. It came up to about $1200 in total, maybe a little more... I think you should work with him, but he is asking quite a bit over what the car is actually worth. Is he the original owner?

three grand for that??? $1800 is the absolute MOST i would pay for a stock hatch, that damage isnt bad at all but expect it to be kinda expensive none the less, because of the way the body contours right there its a pita,

Probaly gona put down 2.3k at the most. Gona tell seller to put the stock wheels back on and keep the M7 set so he doesn't feel too cheap. It's still a more than fair price though I think. Will get quote from shop before making last move. Hopefully it won't cost another 1k.
