Does anyone know if a 240sx skeleton (body and frame) is lighter than an 2nd gen RX-7 skeleton or 3rd gen RX-7?

My friend was telling me that the ultimate drift car is the RX-7, because it is balanced better than a 240sx. I'm just curious to see which one is lighter.

And please mind the questions, cause I'm a none technical type of guy.

I'm pretty sure the RX-7 is lighter. : ) Don't know for sure, I"ve owned both, it would not surprise me at all if the skeleton is lighter in the RX-7. : )

well rx7 would be lighter...but look how rusty all the old rx7s are heh

nah, I love my 240. I was just wondering because my friend and I were talking about it, especially since he's buying an RX-8... He's loaded, he works for Vizion1.com, MLM. But, anyways we were just having a discussion...

I'm gonna bring him to the dealership to pick up his RX-8 in June, and we're gonna race haha. 240sx SR20DET vs. RX-8!!!

I'm gonna kick his ***!!! hahai want to push 300 hp by June... Hopefully i get enough money to buy by then... haha

i was down to either getting an S13 or FC, but i chose the S13 cause it had a back seat. for some people that's important

And who knows, maybe by racing you off the lot, he'll fail to observe the factory recommended break-in period and trash his car. And a year and a half from now, you guys will be sitting around and he'll lament... "Maybe I shouldn't have redlined it off the lot like that."

Sorry for completely goin off topic here..but I was talking to my friend who was braggin about this Mustang they're working on at this place he works..how it would cream a 240sx..So I bring to his attention that ..mustang is a 5litre v8..more hp..etc..and how the 240 is doin pretty good(talking about one with SR) considering it's only a 2litre 4cyl..and he misunderstood what I said..and assumed I mean a 2litre 4cyl engine are fast as hell or something..THen later he said "twin cams suck my ****"..and said he'd take that 240(the ony on ebay with the SR swap and 18" rims) and lower it and put a full body kit on it..so go figured..since the car was already lowered a bit. ..He then proceeded to say his Tercel would beat a 240. Just thought I'd share this. Ranting complete.. :0

well my friend doesn't really care about the recommened break-in-period. The RX-8 is cheap, well to him at least, and he breaks well, he'll just make it buffer anyways...

I told you he was loaded right?

Mustangs... hmmm those are badass but I don't like them because they're like civics, everyone has one...

Which reminds me:Why are race civics, accords, and integras called tampons?

Cause, like pu$$ies everyone chick's got one.
