Who all out here is into, or has been into BMX. Post up what you ride too. I was really heavy into street/light trails for years, mostly street stuff, played with some flatland but I haven't ridden seriously in about 2 years. Just started picking it up again very slowly.

good god Dan...

I wanna get a 24" cruiser at some point...perhaps a General Lee just because I'll scream Dixie when I ride it.

Hahaha, yep, I was showing Ray the DK General Lee cruiser last night. My buddy I bought my new mountain bike from just bought an older cruiser (he's the one that first got me into bmx) and we went looking at bike shops the other day and found a nice one and an ok one. I didn't know Mirra split off from Haro in the last few years and made his own company. I saw one of his cruisers and it even was setup with a gyro. I've been out too long, lol.

In the pic above, black half-bike is part of my '99 Schwinn Predator, which was my second bike, then came the blue '00 GT Mach One, then the green Haro Backtrail X1 right after it came out, destroyed the backtrail and predator and decided to build something a guy my size couldn't break, so I built the Standard STA 500 from the ground up piece by piece. Last orange STA frame that ever came out of the factory too! heh, I have a **** ton of money into that bike and only rode it for a few weeks after I finished it... stupid cars...

Here's one of the most badass bikes i've ever seen that we saw the other day... Canondale suspension cruiser with disc brake... [still looking for it online]

For 35 bucks I assume it's just the frame? If it's a complete bike, then you really can't lose for 35 bucks even if half of it is broken. I don't know the frame geometry on those, the bikes are on the cheaper end, but again at 35 bucks, sounds like a good deal. If it's just the frame, there's loads of better stuff out there.

Very nice, ooooo I wanna help you pick a tire! I recommend 3 things changed on most lower-mid end complete bikes:

aftermarket pedals, grips and tires.

Haro Landing strip is still my favorite seat.

Meh, I used Primo Pro grips for years, still have em on 3 different handlebars. Right now i'm using Odyssey Hazard grips and those rock, grip like mad, pretty aggressive using soft rubber. Think of it more like a mud tire, but soft, for your hand.

ah yes Dan's, I have many a catalog from them sitting in my room from over the years haha. Some other decent alternatives are http://www.albes.com and http://www.empirebmx.com all 3 places have excellent prices, service and quality. But Dan's usually gives you free crap when you order stuff like over $100.

Well I don't know if you read in the other thread that I posted in, but aparantly there is a HUGE market for old school bikes on Ebay. Me and my dad sold an old Redline on there for over $800. He had it in front of his bike shop for over a year with a $75 sign on it hah.

Oh man, 5 years ago I actually had a 10 foot high roll in in my backyard. My friends and I always changed out setup around, except for a wallride we made from jacking 2 doors that were going to be thrown out. Had 2 S&M bikes, but I hated the bars. I had to cit them each down to 26 inches since I was a little guy at the time. I also still think I have my old Eastern Jane Comando laying around in storage. I was pretty heavy into dirt.

Soon enough I got HEAVY into snowboarding, lol.

All the S&M bars came 28 inches back then...I seriously LOVED my Haro Nyquist bars, lol. Perfect width and angles.

Nice. I love how simple, and yet complex BMX bikes can be. It is a good complex... almost simple like really... tough to explain.

My backtrail frame... nothing's wrong with it, i've been saving it for a 'rainy day' when I build a different setup. Now if I could just sell the GT an the Predator...

Not me, was always riding with riding buddies and it's near impossible to ride with a camera on you. Shoot, i took my digi mountain biking about 2 weeks ago and it got smashed.

I dunno, not at the moment, i've had aspirations of building it into a cheap dirt-only bike for sometime.
