bmw wheels on g35 ?!?!?!?

so theres an ad on craigslist in my area for a set of 19" gold 7 series wheels. LOOKS BANGIN!!!
I looked for a set on ebay and found some for cheap but the bolt pattern is 5x120 instead of 5x114.
Can anyone explain how this happened?

the guy just texted me and said he used wheel adapters, DUH!

yeah, you would have to use adapters and the adapters will effect offset as well so make sure you take that into consideration if you do it.
