Damn I am pissed.....I was just looking at that same conversion a week ago.....not with the wideness though. I just wanted to put the projectors on.

Apparently there's lots of Q's like this in Japan. Doing the headlight swap is fairly common place I guess...

I wish there was someone on here who could speak Japanese and look some of this crap up for us!

If we have forums, they must too... just they're all in Japanese, so you can't google them...

There are a couple guys in my shop class that probably haven't been in this country more than a few years. I plan to ask them a few things myself tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes. If they're as JOJ as I think they are they should have no trouble translating 99% of the stuff we come across.

The BMW 5 series headlights are much wider than the Q45 units, hence the wide body kit and the overlapping hood/grill.

This conversion would be a real pain. It would be much easier to take stock JDM Q45 headlights and install projectors in them.

Sijoko....do you know of anyone who can do this? I have been in contact with a local custom shop and haven't been able to get a definate clear answer yet. I was told to do the 740 front clip actually on the Q. What do you think? Can anyone do a photoshop of this.

pito,

A good body shop can do whatever you want done to your Q as long as you got the cash.

But, the bigger concern is: "What would the car look like?"

I think that the Q45 is a very well-thoughtout design. I would choose wisely any modifications to the looks beyond things such as rims, lowering springs and tint.

If you put a part from another car on the Q, it most likely would not flow with the original shape.
