I went past a new M5 this morning and was amazed at what a nothing car this was for $85,000 +++. I did like the wheels and tires, but the rest of it did nothing for me. I had a late 90's 540i that almost bankrupt me with repairs. I did like the older M5's, however.

The front passenger air bag may not deploy in a crash; automaker says no injuries, accidents are linked to the problem.

What a b.S. that is. Tell me out of 200000 cars in 2-3 years there were no injuries cause by this.

back about 4 years ago there were group of 5 kids in my high school crash in a 5series, the front Airbay didn't deploy, and the engine was push inside the passenger area.. the driver was okay, but the passenger was bleeding badly and the next day she died from bleeding too much.

another time my 2005 BMW X3 "airbag off" light always TURN ON when we have people sitting on it!! we keep telling them the problem because it is safety and they keep telling us is nothing big is just the light.. they took out the LED bulb off that light and tell me thats fine ignore it just in case if there is a accident the airbag would still deploy i don't think so... so i guess i need to bring in for REAL now!!
