You have nothing to worry about. You can kill his BMW. Make sure once you smoke his a$$ tell him he should of bought a G. G is a lot sexier too. If you get a chance tape it. We would like to see that too.

0 to 60 mph for the G35 is about 5.5 seconds. According to BMW's web site, it is 6.1 seconds for the 328i manual. An automatic will be slower.

Depending on options, either of you may have paid more.

The BMW only comes with run-flat tires. The are rough riding, short-lived, expensive to replace and (supposedly) not repairable. Even if your cousin replaces them with conventional tires (many BMW owners have), he will still have to invent a place for a spare tire of some kind or go without one. The G35 comes with conventional tires and it has a mini-spare. The spare isn't a full size tire, but it's better than what your cousin has.

The BMW only has traction control. A limited slip differential is an aftermarket item. The G35 has both traction control and limited slip.

BMWs cost less during the warranty period because service is free. After that, watch out! Over the long haul, your G35 will require fewer repairs than a BMW and the bill for them will be lower.

BMW gas mileage will be about 10% better than a G35. Even at today's prices, this is chicken feed.

i thought of a funny idea when someone said bolt ons ...

Tell me to get a Superchargers \ Turbo for his BMW ( made specially for it ) and say you will get one too

His will cost 20-30 Grand yours .. only 6 K

In the end .. G with mods is still cheaper than a BMW

I think M3 is a wicked car but the interior is not my favorite.

328's an easy kill, he'll need a supercharger to be even with us. my neighbor has a brand new 328i stock, he knows what the deal is. BMW is more prestige than performance.

No question the 328i will be slower, but it will be more refined and may be able to take corners a little more quickly (basing this on my '07 G35 sedan vs. 330i, so I may be wrong). The run flats on the bimmer are a real pain, not only are all the points mentioned above true, but also, a lot of the run flats become noisy to the point of distraction, and all that refinement and more go away. BMW has had to pay to replace a lot of them (after a lot of arguing).
