That's be awesome if someone built a fast Echo.

Yeah, that'd be the coolest thing ever.

I want a 2ZZ-powered Vitz, although I want a 2ZZ-powered MR Spyder even more

i have a question/observation:

an echo looks like an egg. its short, narrow, and tall, which makes for a high center of gravity... even on a great suspension wouldnt you encounter more roll than another car?

i'd just like to point out that looks are and always have been decieving...

you cant simply say a car has a high center of gravity from its shape. its not like it has 30 inch tires, a grip of clearance and is actually a 4runner....

the most important part of the handling equation was 2500 lbs.

thats true, i guess you could gut the headliner and throw a few bags of rock salt on the floorboard or something... :P

edit: what i was trying to get across is that for the price of that car he could have easily gotten something better suited for that type of driving and afforded to dress it out nicely. but i mean, then he wouldnt be driving an echo, and he wouldnt be such an individual in a world of conformists.
