BMC Reservoir Question

is the BMC reservoir supposed to be flush with the BMC? mine sticks up about 1/4 - 1/2" and i can't get it to go down anymore, so im just wondering, thanks.

It should seat flush. You might have a problem with seals.

i've tried my damnedest to get that all the way down, but it just wont go? its like the seals aren't letting it go down anymore. do i have to put the seals around the reservoir first then put it on, or doesn't it matter..

btw, sorry if this sounds like a *dumb* question to ask..

^^heres a pic of how far off it is..the front seal is new as i ripped the old one somehow..when i try and push it down real hard, its like the seals are being pushed in also..i think it leaks a little fluid also, along with my rear caliper..

put the seals on the reservoir and then try maybe pushing it in?

thats what i was thinking too..to get all the fluid out of the reservoir, i just have to open the bleeders or just one and push the pedal correct?

That is correct. You have to press several times to get all out.

alright thanks. i'll go out tomorrow and remove the reservoir and seals while trying not to rip them when taking them out...hopefully it'll go in better eh?
