Is there a way to play my android phone music through my blutooth on my 2007 45? Any adapter or accessory that will allow this?

Not through the bluetooth. You can install a Grom Audio box or USA Spec. PA15-INFI to allow you to plug in your phone via 3.5 jack/AUX input. That's how I connect my EVO sometimes.

The Bluetooth version the car uses is far too old to have the audio streaming feature required for playing music over the bluetooth from a phone.

Would this work on the ports on the back of my armrest/console?

It is not BT. It is via a physical cable that plugs into your device and into the Grom unit.

This is what you need http://www.amazon.com/Cables-Unlimited- ... 308&sr=1-3

Hopefully not the 25foot version.

I bought a 6 foot at a local dollar store.

Just buy a Grom Unit or USA Spec PA15-INFI and save yourself the hassle.

Is there a way to do this without having to plug your phone in? I want to be able to do it via BT.

If you have aux jacks, try this: http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Remote ... B00170KUM0 I read reviews where a guy had it in his car & transferred music via BT flawlessly.

Same idea on this one - it even shows it installed in an Infiniti: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Bluetooth- ... d_cp_cps_3

Same idea again, only smaller (runs off battery or cable): http://www.amazon.com/Miccus-BluBridge- ... d_cp_cps_0

Or perhaps a lower tech alternative if you don't want any cables anywhere: http://newpotatotech.com/TUNELINK_AUTO/ ... _auto.html

Pretty darn good, actually. I would say it is on par with the iPod interface, and better than the XM sound quality. I mostly use Pandora, and there is a setting for "Cell Network Audio Quality", which I have set on high, and then did some tweaking with the DSP Manager included in the custom ROM I am running.

when i try the cable route; meaning 3.5 out to AUX (Left + Right) cable, the sound was horrible. I would say sound quality is somewhat crappier than the regular FM station.

I haven't ever tried the aux inputs with a cable on my phone, but with an iPod it is good. Have you tried your phone with headphones? DSP Manager makes a huge difference in sound quality. Also, check the volume output on your phone; could it be turned down a bit?

Further, I am not at all impressed with the Bose sound quality to begin with. In comparison, I also have a Dakota R/T with and aftermarket 8 speaker, 550 watt system that blows the Bose 14 speaker system away, both in SQ and SPL.

i have a samsung galaxy S and the phone volume was all the way up. i also swapped out the stock 6.5" speakers to the Infinity one. so the only stockers are the tweeters and the sub. as stated previous, the output to AUX input quality is pretty crappy. is dsp manager an app that i an download? i'm assuming it's for android

Yes, it is for Android. I am not aware of it being available in the Market; it is usually cooked into custom ROMs available to you after rooting.

Have you tried different devices through the aux in to isolate whether or not it is a source issue?

good point. i shall try that with my other motorola razor VZW phone. i seriously think it's the cable and the max output/input of the system. but we shall see.

Guys, I run my galaxy S2 through the 3.5 aux jack input and get good quality sound... I had it connected to my cigarette lighter charger and it was streaming this extremely annoying buzzing sound. I figured it out and realized the electricity noise was being transferred through the audio line so now I just run it straight through the headphone jack and not charging atty the same time!

Again, I get Good quality sound, volume on high and then just control it from the main stereo unit and I'm good... Not Great! But good! :bigthumb:

This Bluetooth Rx is a great little device. 3.5mm to RCA jacks on Aux on your M45 Audio System. Runs for a 6-8 hrs on full charge, or you can tap 5v DC via usb or cig adapter for full time. Just power it up and sync it with your phone. If you do not have A2DP enabled phone and want to switch to in care bluetooth for calls, you have to do manually.
