Bluetooth volume question

Has anybody else had the problem where the announcements from the bluetooth system are really quiet and nearly impossible to hear at highway speeds? Changing the volume only affects the call itself.

Yes. It doesn't seem to matter how close I get to the microphone, my recorded name for who I am calling sounds really far away and not very loud when it gets repeated. The home/mobile/etc... seems to sound ok, not good. But at least that part shows up on the display.
