Hello all- I have a '14 Altima 2.5 S with bluetooth but no navigation. The day after it was state-inspected at the dealership, my bluetooth began acting up. It will recognize pre-set commands like "dial" "help" "redial" "callback" "phone number" and spoken digits for a phone number, but it will NOT recognize spoken names from my phone book anymore- the same name I have called daily for 3 years, and for more than a full year with my current phone, HTC 10 (no recent updates, no changes). As soon as I speak a name (tried multiple different names), it says "command not recognized, please try again" and repeats the current command menu. Funny part is, though, that if I give up and spell out the phone number instead, it repeats the number, then says "Calling *name of entry that it wouldn't recognize by voice*". So far, I have turned off my phone's bluetooth and turned it back on. I've re-started my phone. I've restarted the car, and I even deleted "my car" from my phone's bluetooth list and gone through the entire pairing process again. Everything I've tried has given me the same results. I have a "ticket" in to the Nissan people, but I don't hold much hope. The dealership was skeptical that it could have anything to do with the car at all, much less the inspection the DAY BEFORE this all happened. Has anyone had this happen before? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
