Bluetooth

So my Z and wife's Rogue are bluetooth equipped what we are finding is that everytime we switch cars we have to pair our phones to the units instead of these just recognizing each other's phone as the main phone and that's kind of a drag as all of previous rides this happened automatically....any ideas?..

Once paired, the system should remember your phone. It's happening with both vehicles? BTW, you didn't mention any details for the phones, so were missing information. There are only two reasons that I can think of that would cause these problems.
1) Both phones are not fully compatible with the head units.
2) Both head units are defective.

we both have Galaxy's and it seems random as I got home and drove my Z played my music automatically from my phone after she drove it all day and it worked fine. tomorrow she will use her Rogue and I will be there to see if her phone works, but it's something that I will have it look at on her 1st service by the dealer just in case

I haven't had issues with my phone not pairing, but I did have issues with all the settings in the bluetooth menu resetting every time I turned the vehicle off. I got a replacement head unit, problem solved.
