Post

We just picked up a new 2014 Rogue SV with panoramic roof and premium package and we love it.
However we noticed that when driving it home and I was talking to my wife on the drive home, there was a huge amount of road noise coming from her call. She was driving the rogue and I was in my altima and she had to disconnect the Bluetooth so that I could hear her. Is there something we can adjust or might there be a problem?

No, and probably no. I'm on my second Rogue, and while it's not perfect, the BT system in my '12 works better than in the '11. However both systems had trouble with the way I say "Wayne", interpreting it as "quit" and would cancel the call.

IMO, the BT systems used in the Rogues aren't that great.

I love the BT system in my 2013 SV. People I'm talking to always hear me loud and clear. When I have the windows up and the sunroof closed, road noise is not an issue. Sometimes callers get some feedback or echo of themselves if I have the speakers up too high. I guess the mic in the headliner is picking up their voice from the speakers. So I have to lower the volume, which also means I can't have the A/C on high if I have the air blower in the face position. I have to either turn the blower down to halfway or move the air to the feet position, which isn't the best way to get the cabin cool in the summer. Works great for heat in the winter though!

Did she have the roof open? I've had no complaints with mine.

Any chance the phone was on speaker rather than connected via Bluetooth?
