Answers to some of these questons are in the owners manual. I don't have the bluetooth option, so I will do my best to answer.

Pg 4-32 - 'The Phone Book stores up to 40 names for each phone paired with the system. Each name can have up to 4 locations/phone numbers associated with it. NOTE: Each phone has its own separate phonebook. You cannot access Phone A’s phone book if you are currently connected withPhone B.'
Pg 4-35 'Up to 5 phones can be paired. If you try to pair a sixth phone, the system announces that you must first delete one phone or replace an existing phone.'

So the questions are somewhat related because I want to know, should we be doing something to 'tune' the voice recognition, or is there enough space in the phonebook to allow us to both record entries (many will be duplicates) in our own voices?
'Bluetooth Profile sharing' has been discussed before:
zerothread/311032 The voice recorded for the phonebook entry must be the same. ie. If record your voice for 'Home', it will not recognize your wife's voice if she says 'Home' You have to record the same number for 'Home' as 2 seperate address book entries using both voices. Yes, this is a PITA but I haven't seen any other solution.
If your wife uses a different cell phone, then you get some more flexibility as you can pair her phone and she can have her own address book (with 40 entries)
You may also need to perform the 'Speaker Adaptaion Mode' on page 4-36 if you haven't done it already.
Nissan has a Bluetooth FAQ as well:
