New 2019 SL owner. Just curious on a bluetooth question. When I make a call via bluetooth, the screen does not automatically switch to the phone screen. Seems like all other car I have been in switch to show the phone.

Just wondering if this is the way it is supposed to operate.

Thanks

The Call in Progress screen should be displayed when you make a call. You have loads of new bells and whistles with your new Pathfinder. Take some time to get familiar with how display settings and cell phone set up functions work by reading through the 2019 NissanConnect Owners Manual. Section 4 should answer all your questions about this. https://owners.nissanusa.com/content/te ... manual.pdf

Thanks, I did go thru it initially. I will look again. All other aspects of the BT seem to work as expected.

Thank you

Sorry, let me clarify. This happens when I make a call through the phone itself. I use the dial pad on my phone and do not make the call through the phone button on the steering wheel. Could that be the issue?

That probably is the issue, since using your cell phone to make the call is not one of the 4 options on your Pathfinder's system to make a hands-free call. Does the Call in Progress screen get displayed after you make the call through your phone and then you press the phone button on the steering wheel to bring up the display? The phone screen can be displayed by touching [Phone] on the Launch Bar, pushing <phone icon > on the steering wheel or pushing <phone icon > (if so equipped) on the control panel.

If I hit the phone button on the center display counsel, it does show up. I will need to try making a call from the steering wheel button and see if the screen pops up automatically.

Thank you

If you haven't already, setup the Voice Recognition System. I have this on my Kia. It is the ultimate in hands-free calling. Just push one button and speak the command to dial my name or dial by number. The voice-to-text feature your system has can send a hands-free text message as well.
