Bluetooth Question on M45

Hi..Just joined and I am enjoying the reading thus far.

Wife and I just bought a 2006 M45 with 8K miles on it....Loving the car..a few questions we had regarding the bluetooth....

We noticed the previous owner still had is "phonebook" of names and numbers in the computer.....How do we delete these numbers and have a blank phonebook.....the 2nd part to my question is.....HOw do I download my phonebook to my computer....or do I have to manually enter them in 1 at a time, considering there is only 40 entries.....

You will have to manually delete all previous entries.

Thanks for the link.....I have the Apple iPhone, Ive set it up to pair with my bluetooth in the car and it does flawlessly.....Just have not figured out how to load my phonebook into the system...

Not familiar with the iPhone, but after looking at the iPhone's owners manual, it looks like you may have to manually add them to the phone book.

I too have an Iphone and did some research on the Apple technical assistance forums. At this time, the Iphone does not download addresses, phone numbers, etc. via Bluetooth to any Bluetooth compatible device (including the phone in the M). Maybe a future software upgrade to the Iphone will enable this function, but it does not work at this time. So, it looks like you will have to manually enter your contacts into the M.
