How up to date is the Nissan site with regard to Cell Phones?

The reason I ask is that CC has a pretty nice deal on a Motorola TracFone - W376g. Nissan only lists the W385 and W490 under Rogue

i always thought every bluetooth enabled car can work with any bluetooth phone.

i was wrong. it only works with specific phones, which is stupid to me but eh.

I just tried my wifes phone and my kids cockroach... all three of our phones paired but will only work with the LAST phone paired.. we have motorola brand and three different types...

Doesn't seen right to be phone specific since they are obsolete very few months.

Anyone have more life experience with Bluetooth??

I must be too old- I only use one phone at a time and just for calls

i have a bluetooth headset. that cost me $100 that connects with any

bluetooth phone... i always figured that was easier than buying a SEPERATE phone just cuz that one connects to the car bluetooth.. (for the ppl who i kno have done that)...

i never really cared for car bluetooth.

but i kno in my momz 04 bmw 745li in NY that her sidekick lx wouldnt work with the car bluetooth...

but she was able to buy a "clip-on-the-visor" bluetooth piece... that links the phone to the vehicle without DIRECT pairing...

but i just figure after all that just buy a headset. use ur bluetooth EVERYWHERE...

I have the Blackberry Curve (AT&T) and I don't have any problem whatsoever with the bluetooth in the car. It works great and it was so easy to set up.

My wife just got the Samsung Glyde and it works just fine, as well as my older windows mobile phone.

the vast majority of phones will pair for voice, it's all the other little features (like phonebook download, etc) that might not work.

As long as the phones you are looking at are Bluetooth 2.0 compatable, you should be fine.

For those that don't know, go to http://www.nissanusa.com/bluetooth/ select your vehicle, make of phone, and there is a setup guide that tells you how to link your phone to your vehicle.
