Hey all, my first question on the new Rogue:

Bluetooth install, pairing was great...worked like gold. After about a week my wife's phone (LG8500 I think..the aluminum case one) stopped pairing and would cut off when in phone calls. The phone would show it paired, the Bluetooth would say "No phone available" when trying to make a call.

My phone (moto KRZR K1M) worked just fine then started to not pair like my wife's.

I deleted and re-paired both phones (deleted both the car and the Bluetooth profile from the phones) and things are OK now, I'm giving it a week....

The display is not consistent too, it used to show the number you are calling after you spoke it, now it does not and I have tried DISPLAY button too......????

Any ideas???

Wow, I am having the same problem with the LG Shine. I also live in the Hudson Valley. The phone paired fine but the bluetooth either does notrecognize the phone when entering the vehicle, or turns off for no reason. Rogue SL AWD, black on black, owner for 3 weeks now. WishI had an answer.

I always have the same problem and it's gotten to a point where I dont even use it anymore, too much hassle, and of course I always remember it needs to be re-paired after I'm on the road and alot of things you cant do while moving. My husband said he's going to call Nissan to see if there's any software updates for it yet since so many people have issues

That's odd... I've had my Rogue for three months now (Saratoga Springs area, NY), have been out to the end of Long Island twice and through Lake Placid a couple of times, and have had zero problems. It's paired to my iPhone and works flawlessly, incoming and outgoing.

huh. mine is paired to an iphone too so i wonder what's up. i do know once i let the phone lose all battery and then it had to be re-paired, which i kind of understand, but now it's a regular issue.

NYC’er here, and I have the Samsung Blackjack II and it works fine… I paired it when I got the new phone and since then had no problems.. When someone calls the number displays and I realized why it didn’t when I original bought the car and my then phone was a Nokia 6682 and had Bluetooth 1.0 and my current phone is 2.0 and so the number displays when receiving calls…

Hey Allison, I see you're in or around the Poconos... how's your iPhone's signal going up and down those hills? Maybe the phone is dropping out and therefore losing the bluetooth connectivity as well?

Love my iPhone, use it for work all day... for me it is a great partner to the Rogue. I didn't think Bluetooth was a big deal when I bought the Rogue, but I feel a lot different now. Hope your bluetooth issue clears up, whatever it is.

Have an older LG VX8100 which pairs fine with the Bluetooth unless I fail to use it for more than 36 hours or so. Then the Bluetooth in the phone turns off and I have to pair them again. So I try to remember to begin a phone call in the car at least once a day. Haven't traveled far enough in the car yet to figure out if leaving cell service area causes the Bluetooth to disengage. I like having the Bluetooth even more than I expected.

Actually here in the Poconos the best service around is AT&T so we almost never drop service!I think it's a personal rogue issue, not something everyone is having. I can pair my phone and get in the car 2 hours later and it can't locate my phone. Thank goodness I dont have many calls to make here in the middle of nowhere:)

I agree that this is largely dependent on the phone. My older Motorola V series would always have pairing issues with a Bluetooth headset. My newer Blackberry is rock solid and never loses the headset pairing. I wish I could try the bluetooth features in the Rogue, but I do not have the Bluetooth option.

I have a lg-vx8350 since march and haven't had any problems. I used it from the state of Florida to New York and in New York without problems. Is your phone on the list of compatiable phones for the Rogue?

you can find some useful information here:http://www.nissanusa.com/bluetooth

There you can look-up the vehicle and the phone and see which functions are available to use.-Jamie
