I drove my Rogue home from the dealer on Wednesday. Can't say enough good things about it. But the only thing I don't like is that the aux. port is located in the front of the radio. I'd rather have it in the back so there's no wires showing and things still look clean. Because of this, I'm planning on upgrading and getting a Clarion CX609. It fits my budget, is bluetooth ready, and has iPod connectivity. I know people have asked questions about mounting the bluetooth mic, and I searched and read through those posts (got a lot of good ideas), however none of my questions seem to have been answered. Here they are:
1) Has anyone determined the best mounting position for the bluetooth mic?
2) Does the answer to the question above depend on the radio?
3) If I wanted to mount the mic up near the dome light, how would I go about running the wire from the radio to near the dome light while keeping the wire hidden?
4) Is there a mic that is specifically designed for in dash mounting (so it looks clean) rather than modifying a clip on mic?
5) Has anyone come across a wireless bluetooth mic for a car radio? - This would avoid running wires altogether.
Sorry for so many questions and hopefully none of these have been asked already (I searched before posting). Anyway, if anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
