I have a 2008 G35 Journey Sedan. My bluetooth was working fine for the first 6 months, but all of a sudden it's stopped working. My phone is a BlackBerry 8830. My phone recognizes 'My-Car' but the typical icons don't pop-up, nor does it switch to speakerphone when I make a call. I have tried deleting 'My-Car' from my phone as well as my phone from my Infiniti bluetooth system and re-adding both, but still pops up with the same issues. Is anyone else having this problem? Better yet, HOW DO I FIX THIS?

Welcome to Nicoclub DonO!

Glad to have you aboard, but sorry that you're experiencing some difficulty with your bluetooth. You might want to first check out http://www.infiniti.com/bluetooth to get some ideas on how to pinpoint the problem. First, you want to ensure that your phone is a recommended model for peak capability with the G35's bluetooth system. I had to trade in my treo 700W for the Treo 700P as the palm version is more compatible than the windows version. Some phones are more compatible than others, so you may have an issue with that. If you find that your phone is not the issue, then try to reset your phone and bluetooth again to see if it gives you any luck. Read through your car's manual as well because you need to do the voice recognition test for the car to completely understand your voice commands. I had to do this a couple times before the voice recognition system would totally understand my commands.

Good luck and let us know if this works out for you.

Welcome again!Dave

Welcome to NICO

I would try to pair your Blackberry in another vehicle to determine if it is a vehicle problem or a possible problem with you Blackberry?Return to the dealer if necessary .Surely one of the hot shot salespeople has a Blackberry that they can test with your vehicle?

Good luck

Great advice!

The best thing to do when troubleshooting is eliminate the variables. If you have a friend with a bluetooth enabled phone, you might try pairing their's to see if that works. If it does, you'll just need to take their phone away from them and toss them yours
