Bluetooth Issue with Motorola Q 9c

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hello, everyone! Just wondering if anyone on this forum happens to have a Motorola Q9c. I just replaced my Blackberry 7130e with the Motorola unit and have encountered an annoying issue.

It's probably more of an RTMS issue more than anything else, but I can't seem to find a setting that will resolve it. My blackberry worked just fine with the car's Bluetooth:

Get in the car, car recognizes phone, car pairs with phone, call comes in, music mutes, car offers choice of answering call with the push of a button, text message comes in, car ignores text message, while you continue listening to music.

However, the problem I'm having is that the car seems to think that my incoming text messages on the Motorola are phone calls. It mutes the radio, sounds the ringer over the speakers, connects the "phantom call" and just thinks for about 20 seconds, while it decides to hang up. I try to hang up using the hang up button on the dash knob to no avail.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? It seems to be automatically connecting the call when it comes in, but I cant find an auto answer setting on the phone or on the car. It doesn't matter, because it's not a call; it's a text message.

I thought only Newest phones are having problems with BTH features but guess not, Q9c has been out on the market for a while and i guess its very hard for infiniti designers/techs to test all phones, i have 3 personal phones so far the best working phone is My Motorola Moto Q(Sound quality wise, most functions are not supported as newer phones such as d'loading phone books and stuff), i guess Q and Q9c is not sharing same BTH version program.
