I just bought a black 08 M35 Sport. I was driving a 2005 Acura TL (which I loved but just got bored). Anyway, The TL was so easy to use. When I dialed a call from my phone, the TL automatically took the call from my phone and transferred it to the car. Sometimes it didn't, but when it didn't, I just hit a button and said "Transfer" and then it worked. With the M35 I cant seem to figure out how to place a call from my phone and let the car just pick it up. Everytime I try to place a call I have to do it through the car. Please help.

By the way 1 big complaint so far is that when placing a call through the car that is not stored in the address book, it is the biggest pain ever. I have only had the car 3 days and want to strangle the lady. In my Acura I could just cut her off and speak, in this car you have to wait for her to finish every darn sentence before you can speak and when I dial a number I have to say 3 numbers at a time. What's up with that? Does anyone else know what I am talking about? It's very frustrating.

Also in my Acura I could say "Find nearest Chinese" and the car would find a bunch of Chinese restaurants in order by distance from my location, does this car do anything like this?

I am wondering if I made a mistake. The salesperson said it was an award winning navigation system, but my 05 technology in my Acura is really kicking the 08 Infiniti's technology in the butt.

Last complaint so far was that the homelink instructions suck! If you have a rolling code, which I do, it doesn't even tell you how to set it up. I had to go to homelink.com to download the instructions.

I hope I am just new to this and don't know all the shortcuts yet and someone has some type of tutorial or advise because I am not a happy camper right now.

Please Help

Thanks

I got a laminated card with mine and it indicated the "learn" button would need to be used as a final step in the activation process.

Does the lady respond with the phone dialing ...even when voice feedback is set to off? I have not tried to dial with her but I do have feedback set to off so every command is not repeated.
