I've had the car about a year and a half now and on Friday I took my bro to the airport and it was working fine but on my way back I noticed it wasn't, on Saturday I tried to set it back up and my phone saw the car but when I tried to connect it it says "pairing unsuccessful make sure Bluetooth hands free is in range" I have no idea what to do because it's been working fine since I got it. The pairing commands work perfectly it's just that when its time for the phone to connect it fails. Anyone know where I should start diagnosing the problem? Also if it helps I have other Bluetooth devices paired to my phone (one other thing) and it still works fine and it's never been a problem so I'm thinking it's the car.

Welcome to NICO!

More often than not, it's just a Bluetooth connection hiccup.
Have you tried turning your phone completely off and on again?
Did your phone get a recent update?
Have you tried pairing any other Bluetooth devices to verify the issue is with the car?

Yeah I tried turning it off and it did get a recent update but before I updated the phone it stopped working so I doubt it was the update that caused it. I'll try with another phone I can't believe I didn't think of that, thank you. If that doesn't work then it might be a problem with the car right?

OK. BTW, is the phone no longer listed in the car's system?

Yeah, if you can't get another device to pair, then it's definitely the car's BT.

It was still listed in cars system but when I made a call the car didn't pick it up even though the phone was in the car. I thought it got deleted too so I checked devices and the car still had my phone in the system, so I deleted it and when I tried to set it up over again they no longer wanted to connect to each other.

Believe it or not, this is rather a common thing, and no one knows why. Probably never glitch again. On the plus side, you didn't have to sell out any money for repairs.
