I am enjoying being able to stream music from my android phone, when I stream from google music I am able to display the usual text, the artist name, song name, album name. When I do the same from Pandora the display is just blank. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Pandora displays correctly on my M37. Make sure your app is up to date. What version of Android are you on?

app is up to date...android 4.4.2 ...Thought it may have been my pebble watch interfering as it had the pandora app but I killed that connection, still no luck.

IDK, AVRCP 1.3 should be working. What phone do you have? Is your Nav unit software up to date? Maybe check XDA or RootzWiki for your specific phone. I have a Nexus 5 so no issues.

I have a LG G2... currently running a slightly modified ROM.

As for Nav update.... how can I tell? I have a 2012 but got it pre-owned.

I would try another ROM, I have a note 3 running stock and it's working fine. I'm even running an app called A2DP Volume that starts pandora automatically when it detects the car bluetooth so I never have to take the phone out of my pocket.

You can check the Nav version on the head unit in settings but it's probably ok on a 2012.

It's probably the ROM you are running. It may be missing some stuff for the bluetooth. I've run my fair share of custom ROM's over the years and some are better than others. If you are able, you could try pulling the bluetooth stuff from a stock G2 ROM, it's something like bt_did.conf and bt_stack.conf and try manually adding to the custom ROM; or at least dig through the custom ROM to see if anything is missing. Maybe reach out to the dev, a lot of times those ROM's are beta builds.

Yeah. It has to be the rom. I've had 4 phones and all of the display text properly from Pandora, Milk, and several other music apps that I have.
