Bluetooth and navigation for 2004 G35

I'm somewhat new to this forum and just bought an 04 G35x after owning a '96 Q45 for many years (which I loved). I was hoping to get some help on a couple of topics.

1. I know that this model came with the option of a navigation system. Mine unfortunately didn't but wondered where a good place to pick one up used might be. I looked a little on ebay but wondered if there were other better places. Also, is this something a dealership has to do or can you do it yourself?

2. Did this model in 2004 come with a bluetooth option? If not, is the next best thing a portable bluetooth that clips onto your visor or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated. This place is great.

Gissmad: I am Kind-of in the same boat as I have been trying to figure out the best way to upgrade my current Audio/Display system with a Nav system. Like you, I found one out there on eBay, but wasn't sure if it would be as easy as removing and replacing my Display and console controls with that of an OEM Nav unit. I've also searched online for some salvage parts and used parts and had some success in locating the parts, but I'm not fully committed to buying for the fact that I'm not sure it's as easy as I have been hoping.

I'm not sure about the later models, but in the 2003-2004 models, the main wiring harness for the car was different if the car came with the Navigation system.

That makes it quite difficult to add the stock one on. If you do buy one, make sure it comes with the main wiring harness.

And no, the 2004 did not have a bluetooth option.
