Hello ,I have a 1998 bluebird, which was runnig very good except a problem.after 20-30 minutes drive on freeway the engine is suddenly going into safe mode.(means car suddenly slow down with jerks and engine rivalutions going very high like in spots mode)This was happening since three monthes.Initially I got this problem after driving 40 min in 140-160- kmph speed, but now I am getting it around 100kmph speed .I took my car to few mechanics ,nobody able to tell me why this was happening, but they said car engine was going into safe mode.Diagnostic check showed engine pressure regulator was defective, but even after changing that one I am still getting the same proble.I am soo worried.Any help .......please

Would you happen to have a picture of your engine bay handy? The engine you have is normally in a sentra. Since you are driving a bluebird/altima I am assuming there are drastic differences between your car and the US version. However If I can visualy identify your set up I MAY be able to help.

I know, That is the sentra engine in the US. What I am wondering is if it is identical to the sentra set up. If it is I can help you if it is alot different then I probably wont be much help.
