bluebird motor into a s13

will a bluebird motor swap into my s13 chassis be a problem? I'm having a local shop swap my motor for cheap and I dont want to have any problems. I have searched. Dont know if im in the right spot but any feedback is appreciated.

A bluebird motor is a FWD motor, so yes... it will be a pain in the arse to swap it.

thats what i thought but what about a frount mount. dont they usually have a top mount intercooler(bluebird). Another thing they mention was to have it switched to a ditrubutor instead of having coil packs. I know its not conventional but is their any real performance differences?

Ok, I'm gonna lock this thread immediately after saying this.

YOUR 240SX IS REAR WHEEL DRIVE... MEANING THE REAR WHEELS PUSH THE VEHICLE. The bluebird motor is a transversed mounted FWD motor. You would have to convert to FWD in order to use the motor.

1. You need to locate an SR20DET out of an RPS13 180SX or a PS13 Silvia. 2. Coil-Packs are loads better than a distributer system, converting it would be moving back a few steps.
