I'm sure it has been asked before, but anyone ever dropped a sr into a max, and if not, why?

I believe the Bluebird is most comparable to the Altima. I have never heard or read of an SR swap into a Maxima. The reason most likely being the extensive fabrication needed to do such a swap; and given the amount of money needed to do such a swap would be better spent putting forced induction on the VQ.

VQ>sr. Why would you go from a potent v6 to a turbo 4 cylinder. That swap is mostly done in older altimas and thw 200sx from what ive seen.
