BlueBird '91 Wont Go

Hi Everybody,

this is my first post here so hello everyone. I have a 91 Bluebird, 2 93 sentra's and a 91 Navara.

my 91 bluebird has recently stopped working all together, leading up to this every now and again it would just stop while driving. i would have to pull over put it back in park and it would star right up again. this would happen more when the engine was cold. when it did die, it would just stop dead, no spluttering or anything. then one day it just did it and wouldnt start again. hasnt started since.

the only effort diagnosing sofar is that i have taken the plugs out and checked the spark. the cam is moving, and there is fuel being pumped from the tank to the engine bay through the filter ...

where to from here? any ideas would be appreciated ... cheers in advance

try thhis. first get yourself service manual(hanes)...im have a feeling that your TBS-thhrottle position sensor is failing,or worst, not working...use your service manual to locate thhis sensor, while your at it, locate your AIT, MAF and your EGR valve, and from your service manual, you'll find thhe step by step procedures how to do this.

I don't know if this will help no, and how much of this will convert over.But I had a 95 altima that would just stall out randomly, like i had dropped the cluch, after I had driven for a little while. In the beggining i could just instantly recrank go,but it eventualy worked into I had to park for a while before it would restart. I ended up having to replace the knock and coolant temp sensors, and it runs fine. I don't know which one fixed the problem but my car runs fine. Again i don't know how much will apply because you have a ?diffrent motor? But if any of ths sounds familiar to you it would be worth checking out.
