Per request of bluebatmobile, here are a few quick pictures of his awesome eyelids overlays. The left one was previously a tad off because i put them on uneven but i fixed them up and they are both even now. The second my friend who has the same car i do saw these, he gave me cash to order a second pair from bluebatmobile.

i made a pair myself and liked them on there. recently i got pulled over and told to take them off since they are illeagal. along with all my tint, windshield strip, sticker on back window....etc.

i hate cops.

why would they be illegal? Did the cop give any reason?

I dont believe they are illegal. I live in orange county and ive been pulled over for crossing solid yellow lines and the cop didnt even mention my tint on my windows! He didnt even mention the overlays on my tail lights or the eye lids

Im taking the eye lidz off this week so i can put the gtr headlight overlays on any suggestions on how to take the overlay off?

why don't you just leave the eyelids on and just put the gtr overlay on top of it.

typically its a vinyl you use to place over plastic or paint to either tint, match the paint, or make the part you are covering a different color without permanently altering the OEM parts. vinyls typically last 5-6 years depending on their care.

some examples are the eyelids (like the above), rear variance (between the tails on the bumper), rear tail (on the tail lights), etc.
