New EX 35 and when using the phone you can hear the person on the other end clearly through the speakers but they have a diffcult time hear or understand me. Saleman said it was a phone compatability issue but if that was the case i would not be abe to hear them clearly throught the speakers? Also if you select handset than everything works fine? Same problem if we use my wifes phone.

in the settings, there is an incoming and outgoing phone settings. You may have to turn up your outgoing settings and see if that works any better.
That's my first thought, second would be to post the types of phones you have tried, and if someone else has the same phone with no problems, then you knows it's not a compatibility issue.

But, when I'm using the cell, people talking come in clear as a bell. Some mention that I don't- It does get better when I talk louder. I'll have to have my wife call me and listen to her from the EX.
I've got an LG touch.

There is a selection available that allow you to disconnect the blue tooth and pick the cellphone and use it directly. I think it is "select handset or use handset" At that point I believe it is not using the cars system at all.
